Representatives of agencies, businesses, and organizations expressed their deep sympathy and solidarity with the people of Hue City, who have suffered heavy losses due to the recent natural disaster. Upholding the nation’s long-standing tradition of unity and mutual support, Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) donated VND 2 billion, while Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank - Hue Branch contributed VND 300 million to help residents overcome the aftermath of the disaster.
Speaking at the donation ceremony, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Chi Tai provided a brief update on the damage caused by the heavy rains and floods that struck the city in late October 2025. He noted that thanks to the effective coordination of the two-tier local government system, the implementation of the “four-on-the-spot” principle, and the flexibility of all levels and sectors, flood-related losses were significantly reduced. At present, city leaders and relevant departments have organized working groups to visit affected areas, assess the situation, and coordinate with local authorities to develop practical and effective initial support measures for recovery.
