The 2025 National Student Vovinam Championship brought together more than 500 athletes from 34 units, competing for 56 sets of medals across three categories: forms, Vovinam dance, and sparring.
At the end of the competition, Hue University Vovinam team achieved 2 golds, 1 silver, and 2 bronzes, a remarkable accomplishment made entirely by two first-year students from the Faculty of Physical Education - Hue University, Mai Ngoc Tai and Duong Tan Loi.
This achievement is not only a source of pride for Mai Ngoc Tai and Duong Tan Loi but also a strong motivation to further promote the movement of physical training and cultivating martial arts, discipline and character among students in Hue.
Since its revival in 2019, the National Student Vovinam Championship has not only been a sports arena but also a journey to spread the spirit of “Learning Vietnamese Martial Arts - Loving Vietnam”, awakening national pride and promoting the cultural values of Vovinam, recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
