After organizing the Mid-Autumn Festival games and activities, the delegation presented 410 gift sets for the Mid-Autumn Festival celebration to all students in the school. Concurrently, they awarded 241 scholarships and gifts to students with good academic achievements and those facing difficult circumstances, as well as 5 million VND to the fund of Hong Thuy Primary and Secondary School. The total value of the program was nearly 85 million VND.
This also marks the 8th year the Green Lotus Fund, the Youth Union of Hue Newspaper and Radio - Television have organized the “Mid-Autumn Festival for Children” program for primary school students in the former A Luoi District. To organize and maintain this activity, the Youth Union annually organizes a Mid-Autumn mooncake sale to raise funds for the Warm Fund (a fund dedicated to the Youth Union's charity work). Additionally, the Youth Union also receives support from philanthropists.
