Primary school students participate in the English "Golden Bell Challenge”

At the conference, more than 200 core teachers at the primary level were equipped with an overview of AI and trends in its application in education. They also practiced using AI tools to support lesson planning, assessment, and evaluation, as well as applied AI in developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, and designed evaluation criteria. The teachers were divided into practice groups to directly create AI-based lesson products that could be immediately applied in teaching.

According to the leaders of the Department of Education and Training, in the context of the fourth industrial revolution and the requirements for international integration, AI not only serves as a supportive tool but also contributes to restructuring pedagogical methods, personalizing the learning process, and optimizing assessment. Particularly in English, the quality of teaching and learning is enhanced with the application of AI, thereby meeting the strategic goal of developing education in Vietnam by 2030.

The application of AI is bringing positive changes in improving the quality of English teaching and learning in primary schools, helping teachers save time and enabling students to grasp lessons more effectively. Moreover, AI supports the personalization of learning, creates automated lessons and materials, and assists in assessment and tracking learning progress.
