Two companies of Hue City participated in the Creative labor festival

Tien Phong Forestry One Member State Co., Ltd., showcased their initiative “The journey of the cajeput essential oil product from tissue culture to FSC-certified product”. This initiative comprehensively refines processes for in vitro propagation, seedling training at the nursery, planting and care, growth assessment, essential oil distillation, and quality inspection according to the local standards for Hue cajeput essential oil (QCDP 1:2020/TT-H). It aims to create a sustainable link between plantation management and non-timber forest products.

This solution previously won the First prize in the agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and environmental resources sector according to the Decision No. 2576/QD-UBND dated October 4, 2024. The company stated that the in vitro propagation rate is over 90%, and the number of standard seedlings ready for planting is over 85%, which helps reduce the cost from 2,580 VND to 1,560 VND per plant. The model's revenue is over 60 million VND/hectare/year, with an estimated profit of 1 to 5 billion VND.

Bach Ma Herbals Production Trading Services Co., Ltd. displayed its product “Bach Ma litsea cubeba essential oil”. This essential oil is extracted from indigenously sourced wild pepper, and has a high Citral content. Its applications include antibacterial, deodorizing, and mosquito and insect repellent properties, making it suitable for all ages. This initiative has been commercialized since August 2022, is being stably applied at the company, and has an estimated profit of less than 1 billion VND.

The event also provides a space for creative workers to connect with businesses, managers, and policymakers. It affirms the role of Vietnam Trade Union in discovering, nurturing, and promoting a culture of creativity. The program consists of three main activities, including the “Creative journey - Aspiration to rise up” exhibition, the “Creative labor - Driving force for development” forum, and the “Enterprises for workers 2025” award ceremony.
