This is an annual event carrying profound significance. It is held to recognize and honor the outstanding contributions of intellectuals, scientists, and healthcare professionals across the country to the cause of protecting, caring for, and improving public health.
At the ceremony, Vietnam Medical Association announced the Decision recognizing the title of “Outstanding Intellectual of the Vietnam Medical Association” for 2025 and presented Certificates of Merit and Commemorative Medals to 80 outstanding intellectuals in the medical sector. Among them, Nurse Specialist Level I Phan Canh Chuong - Vice President of Vietnam Nurses Association, Chairman of Hue City Nurses Association, former Head of the Nursing Department of Hue Central Hospital, and Meritorious Physician – was honored as one of the typical individuals named.
With over 30 years of dedication to the profession, Phan Canh Chuong has made a profound mark in nursing management, training, and quality improvement. He has been actively involved in developing professional standards, expanding the membership network, and promoting emulation movements within the sector. Many initiatives and solutions he proposed have contributed to improving patient care quality at Hue Central Hospital as well as within the local healthcare system.
The title “Outstanding Intellectual in the Medical Sector” in 2025 is a well-deserved recognition of the tireless efforts and dedication of Mr. Phan Canh Chuong. At the same time, it is a source of pride for the healthcare sector of Hue City, helping to spread the positive image of Vietnamese medical professionals. This is not only an occasion to honor the silent contributions of the country’s medical intellectuals but also a great source of encouragement for every healthcare worker to continue innovating and wholeheartedly dedicating themselves to the health of the community.
