Hue Heritage Trail 2025 promises to offer runners impressive and exciting heritage discovery experiences

Specifically, the event will take place from November 1st - 2nd at Nghinh Luong Pavilion and along several of the city’s signature heritage routes. It is also the first City Trail race (a format combining road and trail running to maximize participants' experience) to be held in Hue, where every step taken by the runners will be a journey through heritage, offering unique and engaging exploration.

With four distances, 10 km, 20 km, 40 km, and 60 km, named respectively “Footprints of Origin”, “Ancient Path to Vong Canh”, “Breath of the Sacred Forest”, and “Heritage Journey”, the race passes by notable landmarks such as the Huong River, Thien Mu Pagoda, Van Thanh Temple, Vong Canh Hill, Ban Mountain, Khe Ngang Lake, Hon Vuon Mountain, and more. It is not only a test of physical endurance and mental strength but also an opportunity for runners to immerse themselves in nature, cultural depth, and the spiritual ambiance of the Ancient Capital.

According to the organizers, with the goal of creating a professional event that inspires and spreads positive values to the community, Hue Heritage Trail 2025 aims to become an iconic annual event. It is expected to contribute to sustainable tourism development and promote the image of a friendly, dynamic, and culturally rich Hue to both domestic and international visitors.
