Children participating in various activities at the festival

Attending the event were professors, coordinators, 36 students from Youngsan Health and Science University, and leaders from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University.

“Health Festival” is part of an annual series of community-focused events held since 2015. It combines public health education with international cultural exchange, providing participants with valuable knowledge and promoting positive health behaviors.

The event specially geared toward children and pediatric patients, with appropriately designed activities to raise awareness about healthcare from an early age. Key activities included teaching personal protection skills, proper oral hygiene, and handwashing techniques, as well as providing methods to prevent spinal curvature.

In the framework of the Health Festival this year, the children also took part in fun game booths, received exciting gifts and enjoyed interactive exchanges with Korean students. Through games and skill-guiding activities, they were introduced to medical knowledge in simple and engaging ways, helping to form healthy lifestyle habits and promote proactive disease prevention.

The activities not only provided an opportunity for student volunteers to better understand the role of the healthcare sector in the community, but also allowed them to engage in cultural and language exchange. This helped orient their future career paths and develop essential soft skills for the future.
