With the participation of Mr. Nguyen Chi Ngan, the speaker, a lecturer in Anthropology, Archaeology, Cultural Tourism, Faculty of History, University of Sciences - Hue University, the program shared with students the important role of reading and effective reading methods.
According to Mr. Nguyen Chi Ngan, reading is the “golden key” to unlocking knowledge, training thinking, and nurturing the soul of young people. Many students from the University of Sciences have become very successful after graduation thanks to their reading habits, even though they might not have been top students during their university years.
“In the digital age, when young people spend most of their time on social media platforms, building a reading habit becomes more necessary than ever. Many of my students are now famous and successful, and they still maintain their daily reading habits to cultivate knowledge and nurture their depth of soul. Their success is partly thanks to reading,” said Nguyen Chi Ngan.
In addition to citing specific cases to inspire, Nguyen Chi Ngan also discussed the difficulties of building reading habits in the digital age, as well as the journey for young people to rediscover reading culture by building positive habits. He also introduced and suggested good books that young people should seek out to read.
