The “Finishing” section was filled with suspense. As the first contestant to take on this round, Duy Khoa could not answer all three of his questions correctly. The intense competition in the final round caused Duy Khoa to lose focus at times, as he struggled to maintain his lead.
However, in the final moments, Duy Khoa unexpectedly earned the right to answer correctly on the last question of the Finishing section. This decisive answer turned the tide, securing his victory with 160 points. Minh Triet followed closely with 155 points, Viet Hoang earned 140 points, and Manh Dung finished with 25 points.
With an impressive performance of turning the corner in the last question, Le Quang Duy Khoa brilliantly secured the first ticket to the 2025 Olympia Finals. Duy Khoa’s victory fulfilled the expectations of thousands of viewers from Hue, bringing the 8th Olympia live broadcast to the Ancient Capital. This also marks the third consecutive time that students from Quoc Hoc Hue High school for the Gifted have brought the Olympia live broadcast back to the hometown.
