In the bright picture of Vietnam’s tourism which has made a strong recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic, Hue tourism shows positive signs in terms of strong growth in the number of international visitors and expanding the market of international tourists.

However, thanks to efforts to diversify markets and export goods, Thua Thien Hue's merchandise export turnover reached 1.1 billion USD in 2023, creating momentum for a breakthrough in 2024.

One of the emerging trends in the tourism sector post-COVID-19 pandemic is the increasing concern for sustainable tourism and the resilience of the travel sector.

Inflation along with the impacts of the COVID-19 epidemic affects the global economy, causing escalating prices and many difficulties to people’s lives. After the pandemic, people’s travel demand has increased, and the trend of economical travel has emerged since then.
