While many primary school children in Vietnam are often occupied with their homework, extra classes, or exam preparation after school, children in many states across the United States, even those as young as 5, have opportunities to engage in business activities, financial management, and community fundraising beyond the classroom. Skills that are often considered “to be learned later in life” are introduced at an early age and have become an important part of liberal education in the United States.

On the afternoon of March 6, Hue Tourism College (under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism) held a conference on career guidance and enrollment for 2026. Attending the event were representatives of state management agencies, 51 high schools and secondary schools, as well as businesses and organizations involved in training and human resource development.

From December 5th to 7th, at UK Academy Hue, the Department of Education and Training (DOET) organized training sessions on digital transformation in teaching, assessment, and school management, focusing on the use of the LMS360 system and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in educational activities.

On the morning of October 6, at Quoc hoc Hue High school for the Gifted, the Department of Dyke Management and Disaster Prevention under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and the United States Forest Services held a training session titled “Basis Knowledge on Disaster Prevention and First Aid for Injuries”.
