Literature and art enthusiasts in Hue are being on a journey to rediscover well-known short stories by Nguyen Huy Thiep, not through books, but through artworks of ceramic created by the writer himself and artists who admire him.

Alongside efforts to expose the foundations of the South and North towers and the southern and northern perimeter walls, the second phase of the archaeological excavation at the Lieu Coc Twin Towers has yielded over 9.300 samples and artifact fragments. These consist mainly of architectural materials, decorative elements, stele fragments, ceramics, stoneware, terracotta objects, and bronze fragments.

After more than two months of dedicated creation, ceramic artworks by artists and sculptors have allowed viewers to appreciate the immortal beauty of President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, soul, life, and career.

More than 100 works by 41 renowned artists inspired by the literary legacy of Nguyen Huy Thiep were unveiled to the Hue public on the afternoon of July 5th at the Lan Vien Co Tich space (95-96-98 Bach Dang Street, Phu Xuan Ward).

The exhibition “The Journey of Vietnamese Ceramics” has just opened at Kien Trung Palace - Hue Imperial Citadel, and it marks the beginning of a series of remarkable events under the Summer Festival - Hue Festival 2025.

On the afternoon of April 26, at the exhibition space on the 2nd floor of Kien Trung Palace, Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized the opening ceremony of an exhibition themed “The odyssey of Vietnamese ceramics”. The ceramic art camp titled “Hue with Uncle Ho” officially opened on the afternoon of March 10th at Ngoc An Ceramic Space (108 Le Ngo Cat Street, Thuy Xuan Ward, Thuan Hoa District), attracting a large number of artists.

With many years of experience in reviving the cloisonné art, artisan Do Huu Triet has introduced a new material called Viet Kim Dieu, marking a breakthrough in the creativity of Vietnamese ceramic art.

The 200 antique objects including pottery and ceramics which are not only connected with Buddhism but also valuable heritage are on display to the public at the Museum of Nguyen Dynasty Commissioned Porcelains.

The art exhibition featuring unique and eye-catching ceramic pieces opened on the afternoon of August 25th at Lan Vien Co Tich 2, pertaining to the Huong River Museum of Ancient Pottery (94 - 96 - 98 Bach Dang, Hue City).

During weekends, instead of choosing to travel or sit at a café or go to the movies, many young people in Hue get together at pottery workshop to experience molding clay into handmade ceramic products "made by me"
