On the morning of January 5, the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University, held its third 2025 graduation ceremony, awarding degrees to new PhD, master’s, and bachelor’s graduates.

On the morning of December 1, the Department of Education and Training held a ceremony to award the certificate of Merit from the Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee to the student Le Quang Duy Khoa, who won the third prize at the 25th Road to Olympia Final.

From November 24th to 28th, Hue Central Hospital (HCH) Base 2 cooperated with the Medical Development Assistance in Vietnam (ADM-VN) Organization - France to provide free eye examinations and eyeglasses for local residents. This is the third time the program is implemented.

The Karate and Taekwondo competitions of the 10th Hue City Sports Festival (2025-2026) officially opened on the morning of October 24th at the Multi-purpose Gymnasium of the Faculty of Physical Education - Hue University. After nearly two-thirds of the journey of the National Tourism Year (NTY) - Hue 2025, Hue’s tourism industry has recorded many positive results. Speaking with Hue Today Weekly, Director of Hue Department of Tourism Tran Thi Hoai Tram said that the NTY has not only brought strong growth in visitor numbers but also created a ripple effect in destination branding and in positioning the tourism identity of the Ancient Capital among businesses and tourists.

The Hue Festival 2025 Pickleball Tournament kicked off on the morning of July 19th at Louis Pickleball Court, 68A Hoang Quoc Viet Street. This event is one of 11 competitions within the “Hue Sports Festival 2025”, the third community health sports festival.

On the afternoon of June 6, the Board of Directors of Hue Central Hospital held a discharge ceremony to celebrate the success of a liver transplant case. This was the hospital’s second pediatric liver transplant and the third cross-country liver transplant performed by the hospital, marking another milestone in humanitarian medical achievements and extending the hope of life for children suffering from severe liver diseases.

On the afternoon of Jun 1st, the third season of TEDXLe Loi Street took place at Hue UK Academy, attracting over 200 attendants, including students and those loving and cherishing the cultural values of the ancient capital.

On the afternoon of January 19th, the third annual Hue Yellow Apricot Festival - Masterpieces of Spring 2025 - was commenced at Thuong Bac Park (Tran Hung Dao Street, Phu Xuan District). This festival is dedicated to honoring Hue's signature flower, the Yellow Apricot Blossom.

On the morning of December 28, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan had a meeting and commendation with the team of students who won prizes in the international Olympiad and Scientific and Technical Competitions 2024. Ho Duc Trung, an alumnus of Quoc Hoc Hue High school for the Gifted was awarded the Third-Class Labor Order for his achievement of winning the Silver Medal at the International Biology Olympiad.
