From scraps of fabric seemingly destined for the trash, two students: Dong Nguyen Nhat Minh (Grade 6) and Lai The Tai (Grade 7) from Khe Tre Town Secondary School (Phu Loc District) have assembled them into vivid collage paintings that tell the story of their village, inspired by a deep love for Co Tu culture.

According to a Washington D.C.-based Vietnam News Agency (VNA) correspondent, the Vietnamese Embassy in the United States has showcased the Nhat Binh Ao dai, part of a special collection by the designer Cao Minh Tien, at the Diplomatic Corps Fashion Exhibition and Gala in Washington D.C.

Following the success of previous collections such as “Xua va nay” (Past and Present), “Nhat Nguyet” (Sun and Moon), “Em den tu nghin xua” (You Come from Ancient Times), “Vu khuc gam lua” (Silk Dance), and “Bong - Hinh” (Shadow - Image), on the evening of December 14th, Trinh Hoang Dieu - a fashion designer, will unveil a new collection of Ao dai entitled “Mau thoi gian” (Colors of Time) at the art event and fashion show “Dieu - Mau thoi gian” (Dieu - Colors of Time) in Ho Chi Minh City.

The mutual understanding, love and passion for dance have given Chau Minh Nhat and Pham Nhu Quynh wings to spread the message of dance moves to everyone.
