The village is gradually emerging as a favorite destination for travelers seeking community-based tourism activities in Khe Tre highland area.

Under the majestic roof of the Guol, amidst the resonant gongs of the festive season, the Co Tu people of Doi Village are steadily awakening the potential of community-based tourism. They are creating livelihoods right on their homeland while preserving and sharing the traditional cultural values of their village.

Nestled at the foot of the majestic Truong Son mountain range, Doi village (Khe Tre commune) resembles a peaceful and lush green valley. There, a Co Tu girl quietly tells the story of her village day by day, with all the pride she holds for her ancestral culture.

Amid Truong Son mountains and forests, sounds of gongs have long been blending into Co Tu people’s life, becoming an indispensable cultural feature and a sacred symbol in the spiritual life of the people.

In Doi village (Thuong Lo Commune, Nam Dong District), there is a special man who quietly and diligently preserves and promotes the traditional values of the Cơ Tu ethnic group. This man is Pơloong Chướch, a senior artisan who has dedicated his entire life to the craft of weaving.
