This was among the key outcomes shared at the Conference on Reviewing the Implementation of Resolution 05/2019/NQ-HDND issued by the Provincial People’s Council (now Hue City People’s Council) on policies supporting community-based tourism (CBT) development in Thua Thien Hue Province (now Hue City) through 2025. The conference, organized by the Department of Tourism on the morning of November 12th, gathered representatives from departments, agencies, and 40 communes and wards across the city.

A piece of good news is that in the first 9 months of 2025, Hue welcomed nearly 5 million of tourist arrivals, exceeding the 4.8 million tourist arrivals recorded in 2019. It contributed to creating a strong recovery after a period of stagnation, clearly highlighting the city’s role as the host of 2025 National Tourism Year.

On June 26th, Hue City Union of Science and Technology Associations, in coordination with Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, hosted a conference titled “From Resolution No. 45-NQ/TW, dated November 24th, 2023, of the Party Central Committee to the implementation of Resolution No. 54-NQ/TW, dated December 10th, 2019, of the Politburo on the construction and development of Hue City in the new era.”
The Green Wind Choir to perform in Hue by the end of June

Since the establishment in 2019 with the initial 80 members, the Green Wind Choir has now gathered nearly 200 members from 6 to 86 years old. This is the first community choir to organize its own choral concert, which has become an annual event and been eagerly awaited by audiences. Notably, the Green Wind Choir always reserves hundreds of seats for special guests, who are teenagers in difficult circumstances from social protection centers.

According to the leader of Hue Monuments Conservation Center, the project of restoration and embellishment of Kien Trung Palace in the area of the Forbidden City of Hue Imperial Citadel, started in February 2019, is entering the finishing stage of decoration; and expected to be completed by the end of 2023.
