Strengthening ties in water supply sector with Japan

Vice Chairman of the Thua Thien Hue People’s Committee Nguyen Dung, representatives of Yokohama Waterworks Bureau as well as Vietnamese and Japanese companies attended the workshop.
Over the last time, Japan has successfully implemented many projects, contributing significantly to the development of infrastructure, ecological environment protection, preservation of heritage in the province.
In the water supply sector, from 2003 up to now, Yokohama Waterworks Bureau, enterprises of Yokohama Water Business Association and HueWACO have carried out 5 collaborative projects to improve the capacity and efficiency of Vietnamese water sector in general and HueWACO in particular.

Speaking at the workshop, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dung highly appreciated the initiative to organize the workshop to promote water business of HueWACO, Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises. At the same time, he committed to facilitate in supporting the procedures and conditions to strengthen the relationship between HueWACO and the Waterworks Bureau as well as enterprises of the Yokohama Water Business Association.
