Over VND 11 billion to support transportation costs for offshore fishing vessels

On the afternoon of December 2, Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, held an official meeting with ISET organization (The U.S), led by Mr. Michael Szönyi, Director of the Climate Resilience Alliance, Z. Zurich Foundation, and Ms. Karen Mac Clune, Executive Director of ISET in the U.S.

Along with social welfare activities, banks in the area have been surveying the damage sustained by customers affected by floods. Based on this, they proposed timely support measures to help residents and businesses overcome difficulties.

On the afternoon of November 27, the working delegation of Ton Dong A Corporation presented a great number of school supplies to support students in the city area in overcoming damages caused by the recent floods.

In response to the appeal from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City to support local residents in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, on November 25, representatives of Wilmar CLV Vietnam Group visited the Committee to hand over a donation of 3.2 billion VND.

On November 25, at the National Assembly House, Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo Member and Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, attended a ceremony where Phu Tho Province presented funds to support localities heavily damaged by recent historic floods.
