Hue City will have green parking lot

HNN.VN - The People's Committee of Hue City has just agreed to the plan to renovate the ground of Phu Xuan Park into a green parking lot.

Accordingly, after making an reality check and reference to the proposed project detailed planning on the Huong River’s two banks, the People's Committee of Hue City has agreed to renovate the ground of Phu Xuan Park (near Da Vien Bridge) into a green parking lot.

This green parking lot is designed as part of the job to step by step implement the static traffic planning of the City, solve the messy parking situation of the locality, embellish the landscape, and answer the present pressing need for parking places in the area.

The project also aims to make contribution to overcome the overcrowding of vehicle in the areas around the Citadel, serve various festivals and events organized at Luong Dinh Welcome Pavilion, Phu Van Lau Park (yearly spring flower market, for instance). At the green parking lot there will be convenient auxiliary works with reasonably small space but of high quality.

The investment to, management, exploitation and usage of this parking lot will be socialized in order to attract the participation of investors, enterprises, organizations and even individuals with adequate capacity and expertise.

Previously, the Provincial People's Committee had assigned the People's Committee of Hue City the job to study the renovation plan of the park north of Da Vien Bridge so as to invest or call for investment in building a parking lot.
