Training on business knowledge for nearly 300 tourism enterprises and lodging properties

HNN.VN - On July 21st, a training conference was held to foster legal knowledge on business activities in Vietnam in the field of tourism and to discuss the implementation of support policies and regulations in the tourism industry.

The conference was initiated by Thua Thien Hue Department of Tourism in collaboration with the Department of Legal Affairs and Inspection under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

At the conference, nearly 300 tourism businesses and accommodation establishments were informed about the law on anti-corruption, complaints and denunciations (related to businesses). They were also briefed on the provisions of law related to tourism activities; provisions of law on labor contracts; the law on prevention and control of tobacco harms in tourism activities and Decree on administrative sanctions in the fields of culture, advertising, sports, and tourism.

Besides, local businesses had the chance to learn about the experience of Hoàn Kiếm District, in Hanoi and Hoi An city as examplary models of "smoke-free tourist destination". The conference ended with directions for future practices in the tourism industry.
