Students of animal science and veterinary medicine sector access job opportunities

Students visited, experienced, and bought products from enterprises at the event

The Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University is responsible for undergraduate and postgraduate training, scientific research, and technology transfer in the field of animal science and veterinary medicine for the Central region and the entire country. Currently, the faculty has nearly 1,000 students, including 259 new students (of which, 5 students are from Laos).

The career orientation and opportunities fair for students is an annual event, organized by the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine. This is the 9th time this event has been held, with the aim of providing students with career orientation and fostering a love for the profession from their very first days of study; increasing understanding and the connection among employers, the Faculty, and the University; creating opportunities for students of all courses to access the enterprises through a series of activities such as talkshows and display booths; and providing opportunities for the enterprises to introduce their products, as well as promoting their brands to students, lecturers, managers, and the community.

Taking place over two days on November 1 and 2, the 9th “Career orientation and opportunities fair” was accompanied by 16 enterprises operating in the field of animal science and veterinary medicine. The event featured 10 CEO talks from 10 enterprises, and 15 booths showcasing products and job opportunities for students. This is a great opportunity for over 1,000 students of the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine to access careers, gain a deeper understanding of job positions, and learn about the requirements needed to meet these job opportunities. From there, they can better orient themselves during their studies.
