Launching the 7th Hue University Start-up and Innovation Idea Competition

HNN.VN - On February 20th, Hue University announced the launch of the 7th edition of the Hue University Start-up and Innovation Idea Competition.

The competition aims to encourage entrepreneurship and innovation among high school, undergraduate, and post-graduate students of Hue University, as well as to foster the creation and investment in innovative startups, meeting developmental trends and needs of society.

The participants include all high school, undergraduate, and post-graduate students currently studying within Hue University. Contestants will register in teams of 3 to 5 members. Team members from different schools are also encouraged to participate.

The competition consists of three rounds. The preliminary round will take place from the launch at each team’s respective school until June 30th, 2024. The semi-final round will run from July 1st to August 30th, 2024, during which teams will be trained to develop materials for their projects, present them, and answer questions from the judges. The final round will take place from September 1st to September 30th, 2024, where projects that advance to the final round will receive one-on-one fundraising presentation training.

The first prize winner will gain 15 million VND as well as a certificate from Hue University; the second prize winner will receive 10 million VND and a certificate from Hue University; and the third prize winner will receive 5 million VND and a certificate from Hue University. There will also be additional awards sponsored by investors and start-up support organizations.
