This campaign will mobilize state agencies and local people to plant at least 1-2 Hue local yellow apricot trees at the front yard. In springtime, Hue will burst with the bright color of the yellow apricot and be filled with its pleasant fragrance. Together they enhance the stunning beauty of the ancient capital.

The campaign is hoped to recognize the significance of the yellow apricot as a symbolic flower of the ancient capital and turn Hue into “the city of yellow apricot flower”. This is also part of an ongoing project to make "Hue - a city with four seasons of flowers” earlier proposed by the Provincial People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue.
