Deputy Minister of Home Affairs receives delegation of revolutionary contributors from Hue City

HNN.VN - On the afternoon of September 18th in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Thi Ha received a delegation of revolutionary contributors from Hue City on the occasion of their visit to the capital and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

This is an annual activity. It demonstrates the profound care of the Party, the State, and society as a whole for the great dedication and sacrifices of previous generations in the struggle for national independence and freedom.

On behalf of the delegation, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Hue City – Mr. Le Xuan Hai, reported on the implementation of preferential policies for contributors in the locality. He affirmed that Hue City has always ensured the full and timely application of relevant benefits and policies, while also carrying out practical initiatives to improve the material and spiritual life of policy families and contributors.

At the meeting, many delegates shared emotional recollections of their days in combat and expressed heartfelt gratitude for the care shown by the Party, the State, and leaders at all levels. Several also made recommendations for further improvement and supplementation of policies to help contributors stabilize and enhance their quality of life.

Listening to their stories, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha expressed deep gratitude for the noble sacrifices of earlier generations. She emphasized that caring for the lives of contributors is always a vital and regular political task of the Party and the State.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha also acknowledged the delegation’s opinions and recommendations, affirming that the Ministry of Home Affairs will closely coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to study and propose solutions, gradually addressing difficulties and obstacles, and ensuring that policies for contributors are implemented fully and promptly.
