Cooperation Agreement to apply AI in Hue Central Hospital healthcare system

HNN.VN - On the afternoon of November 16, Hue Central Hospital and VinBrain Joint Stock Company (from Vingroup) signed an agreement to implement more profound cooperation programs in digital transformation, building intelligent hospitals, and doing scientific research.

After the cooperation period to reduce the time of sending back diagnostic image results by 20% for patients, Hue Central Hospital and VinBrain Joint Stock Company moved to the second phase of the cooperation process marked by the aforementioned signing ceremony.

The two sides agreed to implement the following projects jointly: Research and develop the features of DrAid™ software in diagnosing and screening liver cancer through CT images and assessing the radiation therapy response in rectal cancer patients by MRI images. VinBrain provides remote medical examination and treatment solutions, smart utilities connecting patients and hospitals, including Video and audio calls to receive doctor's advice; Online payment via e-wallet; Medical records management; featuring free AI to check lung damage, stroke, Thalassemia disease;… Application for doctors will support tracking and managing appointments, patient records, as well as video calling for consultation and management, and sending condition evaluation.

AI Camera solutions will also take the lead, aiming at an intelligent hospital model with technologies such as facial recognition, security warning/control and abnormal behavior detection, such as violence or cases of strokes, falls, and injuries when the patients are by themselves…

In 2021, Hue Central Hospital implemented VinBrain's "AI virtual assistant" application DrAid™ into daily medical examination and treatment.

Professor Pham Nhu Hiep, Director of Hue Central Hospital, said that the application of AI in healthcare include not only providing remote medical examination and treatment services or monitoring online medical records but also detecting minor injuries, minimizing errors in diagnosis.

DrAid™ also provides additional useful reference information such as lesion localization, lesion heat map to help doctors observe more closely and increase accuracy. These are big changes at Hue Central Hospital when moving towards building a smart hospital model.
