Vietnamese Zen Poetry Week to take place in Hue from March 25 to 31
HNN.VN - From March 25-31, Vietnamese Zen Poetry Week will take place in Hue. The event is organized by Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center, Hue Monuments Conservation Center, and Tam Viet cultural research group.

The event includes main programs, such as: The exhibition of 2 volumes of Vietnamese Zen Poetry books at Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center, including the collection of Zen Poetry from the Ly – Tran dynasties in three languages (Chinese - Vietnamese - English) and the collection of Zen Poetry from the Le – Nguyen dynasties in three languages (Chinese - Vietnamese - English); discussion on Vietnamese Zen poetry; performing Vietnamese Zen poetry at Duyet Thi Duong Theater; calligraphy exhibition of Vietnamese Zen poetry through Chinese calligraphy at Thieu Phuong garden.
In addition to the main activities, within the framework of Vietnam Zen Poetry Week, there will be a night of poetry and Hue Singing on the Huong River; meditation song performances, and Vietnamese meditation music performances at the closing ceremony…
This is the first national-level cultural event on Zen poetry held in Hue, with the meaning of "learning the new from the old" with the beautiful words and ideas of the ancestors conveyed through classical Zen poetry.
