Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW has opened a new chapter for the development of Vietnamese culture. For Hue, it may well represent the greatest opportunity in many years to reaffirm its pioneering role as a distinctive heritage city.

The highlight of page 4 is ‘Paving the Way for Foreign Investment’, an analysis of the new opportunities arising from the Politburo's Resolution No. 10-NQ/TW on the development of the foreign-invested economic sector.

Under the theme “City Awakening”, Hue Wonderverse Fest 2026 aims to create a next-generation festival ecosystem where heritage values are brought to life through the language of music, art, and cutting-edge performance technology.

In recent years, at many festivals and events in Hue city, Phan Huy Thanh has impressed music lovers with his distinctive songs composed and sung by the musician himself, such as Non (The Conical Hat), An gi o Hue?...

Among the thousands of photographs taken of Vietnam's pagodas, temples, and shrines, 250 were selected by Nicolas Cornet, a French photographer, to publish, many of which feature some of Hue's most renowned ancient temples.

Beyond being an ao-dai showcase, the program also highlighted community participation by placing residents at the heart of the event.

Among the highlights of this issue, the front page as well as pages 2 and 3 feature comprehensive coverage of the opening day of the second session of the 9th Hue City People's Council for the 2026 - 2031 term.

The exhibition ‘Golden Heritage - the Convergence of Excellence’ takes place from July 10 to October 9 at Long An Palace, No. 3 Le Truc, Phu Xuan Ward.

For those who dedicate themselves to traditional crafts, the work is about more than earning a livelihood.

Scheduled for July 23-26 at Thuong Bac Park in Phu Xuan Ward, Hue City, the event will feature around 80 food booths representing Hue and numerous localities across Vietnam, including Hanoi, Phu Tho, Nghe An, and Quang Tri.

In response to Hue Ao Dai Week 2026, on the morning of July 10, the Department of Education and Training organized a mass performance program themed “The Beauty of Ao Dai in Schools” at Phan Dang Luu High School.

Like Trinh Cong Son’s music, Hue’s heritage needs to reach beyond its traditional boundaries and connect with the world through younger generations, and Mono’s decision to film his music video in Hue clearly reflects that message.

The exhibition is expected to provide audiences with various meaningful experiences while encouraging the love for books and reading culture, raising awareness of preserving and promoting traditional cultural values in the new phase.

Entries will be accepted from July 15th through September 15th, 2026. Each participant may submit up to 15 photographs online through the competition's official website at www.5wphoto.com.

Comprising 10 sessions (50 instructional hours), the program provides teachers with a comprehensive introduction to Hue-Singing, along with practical training in the melodies of Hue folk songs & the classical repertoire of Hue-Singing.
