According to the organizing committee, this year’s performance space is designed as an open-air venue with free admission for both locals and visitors. By bringing the stage to the Huong River, the organizing committee aims to create a new community arts destination, where contemporary music connects with the landscape and daily life of the ancient capital.

The music week will feature 8 traditional and contemporary art troupes from France, Spain, Australia, Japan, the Republic of Korea (RoK), and Vietnam. Audiences will enjoy a wide range of artistic styles, including pop, flamenco, contemporary dance, cultural and fashion performances.

On the Vietnamese side, the lineup will feature singer MONO, the Hue Royal Art Theater, and a Trinh Cong Son music night program.

The organizing committee said that Hue International Music Week 2026 serves both as a cultural and artistic exchange activity and as a step toward realizing the goal of establishing Hue as Vietnam's signature festival city. Through this series of international music activities, the image of the friendly and culturally rich ancient capital continues to be promoted widely, contributing to tourism and socio-economic growth built on a foundation of heritage.
