South Korean Olympia Capital Corporation invests in social housing in Hue

At the meeting, Mr. William Park,General manager of OCC introduced the capacity and projects on social housing investment in Korea, as well as desired to invest in social housing projects in Thua Thien Hue province. Accordingly, with the experience of implementing projects to build social housing with modern sustainable technology, responding to climate change in Korea and the USA, OCC wanted to invest in social housing construction in Hue, with about 3,000 apartments by 100% capital of the corporation. The investment objective is to contribute to the improvement of the quality of housing and overall urban development in the province.

Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Cao welcomed OCC’s desire, which was in line with Vietnam's housing development policy. On the basis of the provisions of Vietnam law in the field of investment, construction, and investment needs in each period proposed by the corporation, the province will assign relevant departments to provide information as well as theprovince’s preferential policies for investment to OCC, so that they can study and complete the feasible investment report. In addition to investment in social housing, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Cao also wanted OCC to study and invest in other projects in the province.
