Pressing the button to launch Viettel 5G network in Thua Thien Hue
Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung - Deputy Minister of Information and Communications; Mr. Duong Anh Duc - Vice-Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, together with leaders of ministries, central agencies and leader representatives of 36 provinces and cities. On the side of Thua Thien Hue province, there was the presence of Mr. Le Truong Luu, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.
The Zone of experiencing and displaying solutions of Digital transformation is the first event and takes place throughout the days of Digital Transformation Week - Hue 2021. It includes more than 40 booths to introduce, display and demonstrate innovative solutions, ideas and technology products of organizations and enterprises in the province and of Ho Chi Minh City Informatics Association.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, on behalf of the Organizing Committee of the Digital Transformation Week - Hue 2021, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh said that through the Zone of experiencing and displaying solutions of Digital transformation, Thua Thien Hue expressed the aspiration to grow up. With the availability from the mechanisms and policies to the investment environment as well as sources force in place, Thua Thien Hue is confident to be an ideal destination for businesses and investors, especially in the information technology sector.

* On this occasion, Viettel Telecommunication Industry Corporation launched a 5G network in Thua Thien Hue, officially providing 5G network on iPhone devices.
With the opening of testing 5G service in Thua Thien Hue, Viettel becomes the first operator to provide 5G in the Central region. At the same time, it announced a planned roadmap to expand 5G coverage in 15 provinces and cities nationwide, continuing to accelerate the progress of building digital society infrastructure in Vietnam.

From now on, Thua Thien Hue people can experience Viettel 5G network in the following areas: the water Fountain opposite the headquarters of People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province; Thua Thien Hue Junior College of Education, the Central Culture House (on Hung Vuong street), and the Department of Information and Communication (on Pham Van Dong street). Test results in Hue city shows that the speed of Viettel 5G network is stable at over 900Mbps.
Previously, Viettel 5G network has been present in 6 provinces and cities including Hanoi, Thu Duc, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Phuoc, Bac Giang and Bac Ninh.
