| Students discuss and answer questions about skills for preventing and responding to emergencies |
Under the topic ‘Proactive Prevention - Staying Safe in Emergencies’, the program provided more than 600 students with basic knowledge of fire prevention and firefighting, drowning prevention, and skills for responding to emergencies. Through specific situations familiar to their daily lives, the students were guided on how to recognize signs of danger, choose appropriate responses, and seek help from adults, teachers or relevant authorities when necessary.
In addition to gaining knowledge, the students took part in discussions, interactive activities and practical exercises on how to handle different situations. The visual and engaging approach made the content easier to understand and remember, while gradually helping them develop the ability to respond calmly and appropriately to unexpected situations.
A representative of Hue City Youth and Children’s Center said that the program provided students with practical, age-appropriate knowledge and skills. It also helped raise their awareness of proactive prevention, improve their ability to respond to unexpected situations, and foster a sense of responsibility for the safety of themselves, their friends and those around them. The activity contributed to building a safe, healthy and friendly learning environment, while strengthening students’ ability to protect themselves in their daily lives.
