The program was attended by Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, along with more than 500 children aged 6 to 16 from 19 centers, social protection facilities and special schools across the city.
At the program, the children took part in various recreational and interactive activities filled with the Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere, including the ‘Celebrating the Full Moon Festival’ journey with Uncle Cuoi, unicorn dance performances and musical performances.

During the Mid-Autumn feast, the Organizing Committee prepared treats including cakes, sweets and milk, and presented each child with a Mid-Autumn Festival gift. In addition, 70 scholarships, each worth VND 500,000, were presented to disadvantaged children.
A representative of Hue City Youth and Children’s Center said that the ‘Full Moon Festival’ program not only provides a recreational space for children, but also reflects the care and joint efforts of authorities at all levels, sectors, organizations, businesses and society as a whole in caring for, protecting and educating children.
Through the program, the Organising Committee hopes to bring the children a joyful, safe and warm Mid-Autumn Festival, while spreading love, compassion and hope for the future among disadvantaged children.
