Reenacting a ceremony honoring talented people
At Ngo Mon, the Nguyen Dynasty’s Truyen Lo Ceremony was reenacted in a staged theatrical format, featuring typical rituals and formalities of the ceremony to announce the names of doctors following the royal examination.
The Truyen Lo Ceremony reflected the Nguyen Dynasty’s tradition of honoring talented people, and its policy of seeking and rewarding talented scholars. It also highlighted the role of examinations in selecting talented people to serve the country.
The reenactment of the ceremony at Ngo Mon helps introduce the historical and cultural value of the Nguyen Dynasty’s examinations, educating younger generations about Hue’s tradition of studies and cultural heritage.
MONO becomes Hue’s Heritage Promotion Ambassador

| MONO, a singer, becomes Hue’s Heritage Promotion Ambassador |
At the event, the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival announced that Nguyen Viet Hoang, a singer known by his stage name MONO, becomes Hue’s Heritage Promotion Ambassador for a five-year term, from 2026 to 2030.
MONO is a young artist with significant influence among the public, particularly young people. In recent times, some of his music projects have been produced at Hue’s heritage sites, helping bring images of the Ancient Capital closer to the public through music and contemporary media.
During his term, MONO will take part in appropriate activities organized by the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival and related agencies; promote Hue’s heritage through music, videos, images, and creative media products on digital platforms; and spread artistic works inspired by the heritage.
385 ‘School Honor Students’ honored

| Chairman of the City People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh honored outstanding students |
As part of the program, Hue City honored ‘School Honor Students’ of the 2025 - 2026 academic year. A total of 385 students were honored, including 40 high school students, 133 secondary school students, and 212 primary school students. These students were selected for their outstanding academic performance and personal development, demonstrating determination, resilience, and aspirations to excel.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh congratulated the 385 outstanding students being honored, and acknowledged the efforts of the education sector, teachers, parents, and students during the 2025 - 2026 academic year.
Addressing the honored students, the Chairman of the City People’s Committee expressed his hope that they would regard today’s achievements as motivation to continue striving for excellence; maintain their passion for learning, embrace creativity, dare to dream, and pursue ambitious goals.
The Chairman affirmed that the city’s leaders would continue to pay attention to and support the education sector, creating favorable conditions for students to develop comprehensively, nurture their talents, pursue their dreams, and cultivate their aspirations. All levels and sectors, schools, families, and the society as a whole should work closely together, create a favorable environment in which every student can study, be trained, and develop, contributing to building Hue into a city of education, culture, heritage, and sustainable development.
