This year’s tournament brings together 8 strong teams, including: FC Cori, FC Khong Gian Hue, FC No, FC Zuka, FC Quoc Nhat, FC A7, FC Linh Sport, and FC Art Print. The teams are divided into 2 groups and compete in a single round-robin format, with the top 2 teams from each group advancing to the semifinals.
Notably, alongside Hue’s quality lineup of players, the tournament also features many talented players from other localities, including: Nghe An, Quang Tri, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City. Well-known names in the grassroots football scene, such as Thien ca chot, Son Neymar, and Khac Anh, etc., are also taking part, helping raise the tournament’s competitive quality and appeal.
According to Mr. Bui Thanh Dung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports, besides providing a healthy and engaging sporting event, the tournament also serves as a platform for promoting culture and tourism, further spreading the image of a dynamic and friendly Hue to domestic and international visitors.
