The festival aims to introduce and promote the quality and value of Hue thanh tra pomelos while also showcasing local agricultural products, handicrafts, cuisine and ecotourism. The organizers will invite localities with thanh tra-growing areas to display their products, interact and exchange experience in cultivation and care techniques, as well as ways to improve yields and product value. The event will also provide an opportunity for orchard owners and producers to seek partners and expand distribution channels for thanh tra pomelos, other pomelo varieties, agricultural produce, safe food products and handicrafts.

As part of the festival, ceremonial offerings of thanh tra pomelos will be made at Nguyet Bieu and Luong Quan village communal houses. The festival grounds will feature areas for displaying and selling thanh tra pomelos, safe agricultural produce and handicrafts; an exhibition introducing Hue thanh tra trees; and a food fair organized by Thuy Xuan residents. Cultural and artistic performances, music programs and folk games will take place alongside the exhibitions and commercial activities. The Thuy Xuan Ward People’s Committee is also coordinating with tour operators, orchard owners and owners of traditional nha ruong houses to develop community-based tours, allowing visitors to explore thanh tra-growing areas and experience the local way of life and landscapes.

Thuy Xuan Ward People’s Committee has assigned relevant forces to ensure security and public order, traffic safety, environmental sanitation and food safety throughout the festival.
