| Talkshow featuring artisan Mai Thi Tra at the National Bun bo Hue Festival |
At the event, artisan Mai Thi Tra shared fascinating insights into the history of Bun bo Hue, the secrets to creating its signature flavor, as well as the cultural values embedded in this celebrated dish.
According to artisan Mai Thi Tra, creating an authentic bowl of Bun bo Hue is the result of a long process of preserving and passing down culinary techniques accumulated over many generations. Every pot of broth, every noodle strand, and every seasoning carries the story of the people who make it and their love for Hue’s cuisine.
The National Bun bo Hue Festival also created an opportunity for exchange and connection among artisans, businesses, and accompanying units. Alongside booths from Hue, several booths from other localities, including Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Quang Tri, etc., also prepared Bun bo Hue according to local tastes, along with other noodle dishes featuring their own distinctive flavors.
On this occasion, representatives of Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company introduced the Hang Nga dried instant rice noodle product, which helps bring the flavor of Bun bo Hue closer to consumers both domestically and abroad.
