In Hung Loc Commune and Phu Loc Commune, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the City Party Committee’s Internal Affairs Commission, Mr. Dang Ngoc Tran, visited the family of Mrs. Truong Thi The (Binh An Village, Hung Loc Commune); Mr. Huynh Thi (Dong Luu Village, Phu Loc Commune); and Mrs. Cai Thi Da (Bach Ma Village, Phu Loc Commune).

Warmly inquiring about the families’ health and living conditions, Mr. Dang Ngoc Tran expressed deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of war invalids, martyrs, and people with meritorious service in the struggle for national liberation and the defense of the Fatherland.

Head of the City Party Committee’s Internal Affairs Commission Dang Ngoc Tran also urged local party committees and authorities to continue effectively implementing policies for people with meritorious service, and pay regular attention to both the material and spiritual well-being of policy beneficiary families so that they can maintain stable lives and continue upholding the revolutionary tradition.

* On the same afternoon, Mr. Ha Van Tuan, Member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, visited and presented gifts to exemplary families of people with meritorious service in An Cuu Ward, and Vy Da Ward.

In An Cuu Ward, Mr. Ha Van Tuan visited Mrs. Mai Thi Vong (386 Phan Chu Trinh Street). In Vy Da Ward, he visited Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai (Cong Luong Residential Group).

Visiting the families, Mr. Ha Van Tuan expressed deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of war invalids, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs, and people with meritorious service; he affirmed that the city consistently ensures the full and timely implementation of preferential policies and benefits for people with meritorious service to the revolution. He also called on all levels and sectors to continue improving the material and spiritual well-being of policy beneficiary families, helping to spread the moral traditions of ‘drinking water, remembering its source’, and ‘repaying the debt of gratitude’.

* Also on July 21, Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, and Head of the City's Steering Committee 515, visited, inspected and encouraged the Martyrs’ Remains Recovery Team 192 (the City Military Command), which is tasked with searching for and repatriating martyrs’ remains in Huong Thuy Railway Station area (Chau Son Residential Group, Huong Thuy Ward).

Inspecting the site, Mr. Nguyen Van Manh acknowledged and commended the sense of responsibility and determination shown by the officers and soldiers of the Martyrs’ Remains Recovery Team 192; while stressing that the city has consistently and vigorously directed the search for and recovery of martyrs' remains under the “500 Days and Nights Campaign”.

* On this occasion, a delegation from the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of A Luoi 2 Commune, led by the Party Committee Secretary Le Anh Tuan, visited and presented gifts to Hero of the People’s Armed Forces Ho Thi Dom; visited the widow of martyr Phan Cong Binh; and visited Mrs. Ho Thi Muoi, a sick soldier with an 81% disability rating.

At each visit, the delegation warmly inquired about their health and living conditions, expressing deep gratitude for the tremendous contributions and sacrifices of previous generations in the struggle for national liberation and reunification.
