Scheduled for July 23-26 at Thuong Bac Park in Phu Xuan Ward, Hue City, the event will feature around 80 food booths representing Hue and numerous localities across Vietnam, including Hanoi, Phu Tho, Nghe An, and Quang Tri.
During the four-day event, residents and visitors will have the opportunity to explore the rich culinary traditions of Hue and other regions, join the vibrant National Hue Beef Noodle Festival, and witness an attempt to set a national record for the largest live Hue beef noodle cooking and culinary demonstration event serving the greatest number of people simultaneously, and enjoy the themed performance ‘The Legend of Van Cu and the Huong Ngu Symphony’. The program will also feature a variety of cultural exchanges, hands-on experiences, and artistic performances.

Through the event, Hue aims to further elevate the brand of Hue beef noodle soup, positioning the city's signature dish as a flagship cultural and tourism product while strengthening its recognition on the regional and global culinary map. The program also seeks to promote Vietnam's rich culinary heritage and reinforce Hue's reputation as the country's Culinary Capital.
Speaking at the press conference, Vice Chairman Tran Huu Thuy Giang said the program is one of the highlights of Hue Festival 2026 series. Beyond celebrating Hue's culinary heritage, it is expected to further promote the city's image as one of Vietnam's leading cultural, tourism, and gastronomic destinations. He also called on media organizations to help spread the program’s message and showcase the cultural values it represents.
