With its extensive network of rivers, coastline, a rapidly growing number of swimming pools, and water recreation facilities, Hue faces an increasing need to ensure the highest level of safety for residents and visitors participating in water-based activities.

Mr. Bui Thanh Dung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports, said: “Water-related emergencies often occur without warning, and the line between life and death can come down to just a matter of seconds. That is why lifeguards’ professional competence, quick decision-making ability, and strong sense of responsibility are critical to save lives.”
