| The exhibition drawing a large number of art lovers in Hue Ancient Capital |
The exhibition features 31 artworks by 27 members of “The Perfume River and Friends” group. Spanning various media, including lacquer, oil painting, acrylic, woodcut, and mixed media, the collection offers viewers a diversity of themes, clearly reflecting the individual perspectives and creative identity of participating artists.
Through the language of painting, the artists offer vivid glimpses into people, daily life, memories, and the beauty of their homeland. Images of the poetic Perfume River, Hue’s quiet historic citadels, and the pulse of modern life unfold in diverse emotional tones, shaping an artistic space imbued with a humanistic spirit and a strong sense of cultural identity.
Alongside the artworks, the exhibition displays a special collection of handwritten inscriptions by writers and artists from Hue and across the country, recorded during their visits to Song Huong Magazine. These valuable hallmarks preserve the close-knit connections between the artistic community and Song Huong Magazine, a place that has long been a home for literature and arts in Hue Ancient Capital.
Running from June 18 to 25 at the art space at 9 Pham Hong Thai St., the exhibition is expected to bring a wide range of emotions and provide memorable experiences for art lovers.
