Healthcare facilities have stocked medicines and medical supplies to ensure prompt medical assistance for candidates and invigilators if needed

According to the plan, the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination is scheduled to witness around 14,150 candidates register to take the exam at 37 examination venues in the city area.

To ensure candidates’ health and safety, the Department of Health has put in place measures on first aid, emergency medical transportation, disease prevention and control, and food safety for candidates, invigilators, and all individuals involved in the exam process. Specifically, health authorities have directed medical units to coordinate closely with examination venues in preparing healthcare plans, arranging on-duty medical staff, and ensuring adequate stocks of medicines, medical supplies, and equipment to promptly deal with any situations that may arise. Surveillance of infectious diseases and food safety has also been intensified at examination sites.

The People’s Committees of communes and wards have instructed examination venues to set up medical rooms or first-aid stations, ensure the presence of on-duty medical staff, and coordinate with local health stations to develop plans for handling any medical incidents that may arise during the examination.

In addition, healthcare centers as well as general and specialized hospitals under the management of the Department of Health have been required to reserve at least 5 hospital beds per hospital, while ensuring sufficient medical staff, medicines, supplies, and equipment in place to promptly receive and provide emergency treatment for patients in case of any incidents.

Meanwhile, the 115 Emergency Center has been tasked with maintaining on standby to coordinate emergency transportation. Central-level hospitals in the city, including Hue Central Hospital and Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, have also been asked to prioritize the admission and emergency treatment of patients when needed.
