At the conference, the Department of Education and Training reviewed directives, examination regulations, and key requirements for organizing the examination. Meanwhile, participants received training on the organization and operation of examination venues, including the duties, authority, and responsibilities of heads, deputy heads of the examination centers, secretaries, and invigilators; the guidance on candidate check-in procedures as well as the conduct of the examination, the examination supervision procedures, the collection of answer sheets, the safekeeping, and handover of the answer sheets…
In addition, participants were briefed on regulations to ensure examination security, safety, and confidentiality, as well as procedures for safeguarding, transporting, and storing exam papers, and answer sheets. The training also covered the identification, prevention, and handling of cheating involving advanced technological devices, along with response measures for unexpected incidents at examination venues in compliance with examination regulations.
Participants also engaged in discussions on possible scenarios that could arise during the examination, seeking to unify handling procedures and ensure the examination is conducted safely, fairly, objectively, and in strict accordance with regulations.
The 2026 National High School Graduation Examination is scheduled to be held on June 11-12, with 14,150 candidates registered citywide, including 13,020 from upper secondary schools and 1,130 from continuing education centers. A total of 37 examination venues with 622 examination rooms have been prepared, while over 2,500 officials, teachers, and support staff, together with other forces from the police, healthcare, and electricity sectors, will be deployed to ensure the examination will take place smoothly.
