According to the review conducted at the beginning of 2026, Thuy Xuan Ward currently has 39 poor households and 101 near-poor households. Through surveys at the base level, local organizations recognized that, besides income difficulties, many households also lack essential living conditions. Among them, a safe gas stove for preparing daily meals is a practical necessity for many disadvantaged families.
From there, the Women’s Union and the Youth Union of the ward proactively coordinated and mobilized socialized funding from Thanh Giong Clean Energy Development Joint Stock Company to implement the “Kitchen of Love” model, aiming to accompany poor households, near-poor households, policy beneficiary families, and disadvantaged households in the ward during the 2026 - 2030 period.
This is a practical social welfare activity that contributes to effectively mobilizing and utilizing socialized resources to improve the lives of disadvantaged residents in Thuy Xuan Ward. Through the “Kitchen of Love” model, local organizations have promoted communication, advocacy, and calls for organizations, individuals, and businesses both inside and outside the locality to provide material and spiritual support for disadvantaged households, thereby helping residents stabilize their daily lives and gradually improve their living conditions.

In addition to donating gas stoves and essential household items, the program also includes guidance and communication activities on safe, economical, and effective gas usage, while gradually building, maintaining, and expanding the “Kitchen of Love” model into a sustainable social welfare initiative during the 2026 - 2030 period.
In the first phase, the model donated eight gas stove sets, one induction cooker, and nine cookware sets to nine poor households. In the coming period, the model will continue coordinating with local organizations and authorities to assess the needs of near-poor households, policy beneficiary families, and disadvantaged households in order to gradually provide additional gas stoves, gifts, and household items suited to each family’s actual circumstances.
The “Kitchen of Love” model does not simply provide a stove, but also opens the door to long-term companionship, from supporting daily living needs to connecting households with livelihood opportunities, education, and employment, helping families stabilize their lives and move toward sustainable poverty reduction.
