| The tournament aiming to strengthen connections among businesses and join hands for the community |
Building on the success of its previous two editions, the 3rd HTA Group Cup Football Tournament – 2026 features eight teams representing businesses and organizations across the city.
At the tournament, teams are divided into two groups. Group A includes FC HTA Group 2, FC Dat Xanh Mien Trung 3, FC Hoang Thinh Phat 4, and FC Hue Press, while Group B comprises FC Nam Song Huong Group 2, FC Hati 3, FC Thinh Phat 4, and FC LKS Studio. The teams compete in a round-robin format, with the top teams from each group advancing to the semifinals and final.
Running until May 16, the tournament is expected to deliver exciting, competitive, and spirited matches. In addition, in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of My Thuong and Duong No wards, the organizing committee will present gifts to policy beneficiary families, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and disadvantaged households in the area.
As part of its community-oriented activities, during the Gala Night on May 16, the Organization Board will hold an auction featuring a jersey of Andy Cole - a legend of Manchester United - bearing his original signature, along with three “beautiful number” SIM cards from VinaPhone, MobiFone, and Viettel. Proceeds from the auction will be donated to the “Lighting Hope” fund to support pediatric patients undergoing treatment at the Oncology Department of Hue Central Hospital.
“With the message of not only competing to win but also creating sustainable human values and connections, we will strive to maintain this tournament as an annual event, thereby contributing to community activities,” said Mr. Lam Dai Thanh, a representative of the Organization Board.
