On May 6, Ms. Dinh Thi Hoai Trai, Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City, said that the Duong No Village Festival 2026 is a political and cultural event of profound significance, aimed at commemorating and paying tribute to the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the brilliant leader of the Party and the Vietnamese People, a national liberation hero, and an outstanding cultural figure.
The festival will feature a wide range of activities, including a procession and offering lotus flower ceremony to President Ho Chi Minh, a lantern floating ceremony, the festival’s opening ceremony, the showcases of local tourism - OCOP products, the cultural and culinary experiences, the exhibitions, and a storytelling contest, etc. These events will take place over 3 days at Duong No Communal House and Uncle Ho’s Memorial House in Duong No.
According to Ms. Trai, the Duong No Village Festival 2026 is not only a cultural event, but also a message and a heartfelt invitation to the public and visitors from near and far: come at least once to listen to the breath of history, and experience the peaceful and profound beauty of a countryside that contributed to shaping a great personality. Joining the festival is not only a journey through space but also a journey back to the roots and enduring values of the nation.
