Presenting gift sets to visually impaired members in difficult circumstances

At the seminar, delegates reviewed traditions and evaluated the Association's performance in recent times, while focusing on discussing solutions to improve the material and spiritual lives of its members.

Currently, Hue City Association of the Blind serves as a shared home for nearly 2,000 members. Continuously promoting its role in connecting, sharing, and protecting the rights of the visually impaired people; alongside its professional activities, the Association has strengthened the mobilization of social resources. As a result, over the last 10 years, the Association has mobilized and distributed more than 152,000 gift sets worth over 47 billion VND to its members, and built and repaired more than 70 charity houses. These practical activities have contributed to reducing the poverty rate within the Association from 23.9% in 2020 to 15.1%.

Beyond being an occasion to honor significant milestones, this event also marked an important step in the Association’s development, and reaffirmed its role in accompanying the visually impaired individuals. On this occasion, the Association collaborated with the Vong tay nhan ai (Compassionate Hands) Club to present 20 gift sets to members in difficult circumstances, helping to motivate them to remain confident in life.
