Young swimmers competing at the “Green Lane” Swimming Tournament

This year’s tournament brought together 442 athletes from 42 primary and secondary schools across the locality. Competitors were divided into 3 age groups: Grades 4, 5, Grades 6,7, and Grades 8,9. They competed in 12 individual events and 3 relay races, covering freestyle and breaststroke distances ranging from 25m to 100m.

Through the tournament, Hue Youth and Children Center aims to further promote swimming practice in schools. The initiative helps improve students’ physical fitness, equip them with essential survival skills, and enhance their ability to proactively prevent drowning accidents. It also serves as a practical activity to foster a younger generation that develops comprehensively in both physical health and mental well-being.
