This is the first of 20 localities where Hue Red Cross Society is rolling out first aid training for preschool teachers in 2026.
Over two days, 30 teachers from An Dong, An Cuu, An Tay, and Au Lac preschools, along with independent classes in An Cuu Ward, were equipped with 10 basic first aid techniques.
The training covered emergency victim evacuation; airway obstruction management; first aid for respiratory and cardiac arrest; bleeding control and shock management; soft-tissue wound care; bandaging; fracture management; safe transportation of injured victims; and first aid for burns, electric shock, and drowning.
Through the training, preschool teachers can strengthen their capacity to respond to school-related accidents and injuries, thereby reducing risks and ensuring the safety of children, who are naturally active and vulnerable to incidents.
