| Traffic police officers returning a lost mobile phone to two foreign tourists |
Earlier, at around 12:40 p.m. on March 30th, a working team from Road Traffic Police Unit No. 2 received a report from two foreign tourists staying at White Lotus Hotel (Thuan Hoa Ward) regarding forgotten personal belongings.
According to the report, Mr. Jurrien Joseph Vincent Martha (born in 1974, Dutch nationality) and Ms. Mellisa Jane Jongen (born in 1976, British nationality) had left a mobile phone in a car with license plate 75E-009.xx after traveling from Phu Bai International Airport to the city center.
Immediately after receiving the information, the working team quickly verified the case, contacted the driver, and requested him to return to the Traffic Police Division headquarters to coordinate in resolving the matter. By 1:20 p.m. the same day, the property had been fully returned to the two tourists.
